Waterford Harvest Festival 2012

It’s a battle for food supremacy as well known Waterford celebrities from a wide range of backgrounds will face off to win the hearts, minds and taste buds of the public.

Celebrities taking part in the competition include Illusionist Keith Barry, RTE’s South Eastern Correspondent Damien Tiernan, The Voice of Ireland star Richie Hayes, Managing Director of bookaroom.ie Regina Mangan and GIY Ireland founder Michael Kelly.

The competition will be run in a similar style to RTE’s “The Restaurant” TV series. The competing celebrities will enter the kitchen under the guidance of the restaurant head chef and create their own menu for the public. Now, here is the fun part… diners will not be aware which celebrity has prepared which particular menu. A vote will then take place and the winning celebrity will be revealed to all.
