Waterford Harvest Festival 2012

Hosted by the Mayor of Waterford, Cllr Jim Darcy.

Enjoy burgers, sausages, ribs, relish, live music, street entertainment and lots of orange squash at this great value, family friendly event for everyone to enjoy- right in the heart of Irelands oldest city!

It’s simple; a great value ticket will get you:
 

• A barbequed meal made from locally produced meats, salads, and as much orange squash as you can drink.  Food will be cooked and served in four different Hot Spots: behind Bishop’s Palace, in Cathedral Square, Greyfriars and Bailey’s New Street. Simply hand in your ticket at any one of the four Hot Spots and tuck in!
• An exciting mix of street entertainment and music will be provided for all the family between 5.30pm and 8.30pm
• Pork tastings from a hog roast in the centre of the Viking Triangle.
   

There'll be tables and chairs throughout the Viking Triangle and don't worry if it rains; there'll even be marquees!

Take the opportunity to enjoy free access to some of the cities exciting new heritage developments, including the Medieval Museum and the Bishops Palace.

Over 25% of the income from the event will go to clubs and charities throughout Waterford to fund their activities.
